Missions

The automatic missions of oBot for BattleKnight: the largest mission your points allow, as soon as the knight is back in the village, with health above the minimum. Free.

What it does

In BattleKnight every mission costs mission points and after every mission the knight has to return to the village. oBot leaves by itself as soon as the knight is back and there are enough points and health, so the points that recharge while you are not playing are not wasted. It is free.

Options

Automatic missions
On, the bot goes on a mission as soon as it can; off, it does no missions.
Size
Automatic (recommended): the largest mission your points allow, large with at least 60 points, then medium and small, except in places where that size often loses: after 3 defeats in a row in the same size the bot drops to a smaller one, or goes to the place that pays more, for 4 hours, and writes it in the log. It also does not spend points on a size that often loses in that place when a bigger one wins more: it waits until it has enough, working in the meantime, and says so in the log. Or a fixed size: small, medium or large.
Place
Automatic (recommended): the bot picks the place that pays best, see Automatic place below. If you choose a place, it always goes there.
Objective
With automatic place you can ask the bot for the place that gives the most experience per point instead of the most silver. Mission points come back slowly and limit your growth, and the experience per point differs from place to place: the bot tries every place a couple of times, measures the experience per point of the missions you win and goes where it pays more. The places table has a column with the experience per 10 points. Silver stays the default; it never spends rubies.
Karma side
Positive (light) or negative (darkness). Positive missions give light karma, negative ones dark karma: you need it for the karma powers of that side.
Minimum health
20, 30, 40, 50, 60 or 70%. Below this health the bot does not go on missions and waits for health to regenerate: with little health you lose fights.
Level up
A Telegram message when the knight levels up and when it reaches the level of the Tournament (8) and of group missions (9). It is in the Alerts and login group, Telegram messages box: see the Telegram section.

Mission points

  • A small mission costs 20 points, medium 40, large 60.
  • The game gives back about 20 points per hour on normal-speed servers (40 with the game’s Premium account, which has nothing to do with oBot premium): the bot measures the real rate.
  • Every fight costs health: large missions pay more and cost less health per point, which is why the automatic size picks the largest possible.

Automatic place

  • Every place of the zone is tried 3 times; a place lost two times out of two is not tried a third time (every defeat costs health).
  • Then the bot goes where it pays best: silver per mission point (or experience per point, with the Objective set on experience) multiplied by the share of wins, measured on the last 10 fights.
  • Every now and then (about one mission in eight) it tries the other places again, so it notices if something changes.
  • In Home you find the Yield per place table: for each place the missions won, the silver per point and the experience per 10 points of the last 14 days, best first.
  • When it leaves a place where you won less than half of the last missions (at least 5) for one that pays more, it writes it in the log.

What the bot does

  • At every round it reads level, health, silver and mission points from the game; you see them in Home.
  • It respects the return time to the village: it leaves again as soon as the knight is back.
  • With health below the minimum it drinks a potion from the bag, if it has one (see Health, loot chest and alerts); otherwise it waits and checks again every 15 minutes.
  • When points run out it first tries a duel or the Challenge (premium, see Duels and Challenge), then sends the knight to work if work is on; otherwise it checks again every 20 minutes.
  • If a mission fails it writes it in the log and retries after 10 minutes.
  • Every mission ends up in the log with the outcome, silver and experience; in Home, Today box, you find the day’s totals (missions, fights, wins, silver, experience).
