What it is for
When the expedition points are used up, or health is low and there is no food, the gladiator would sit idle. oBot sends him to work: he earns gold and, if needed, brings food home. It is free and you find it on the Tasks page, Work box.
Options
Go to work when you cannot fight
On, the bot sends the gladiator to work as soon as it cannot fight; off, it just waits.
Working hours
The maximum length of each shift: 1 (default), 2, 4 or 8 hours. The bot works only the hours it needs, for example those to get back to half health, never more than the ones chosen; if the job needs more or fewer hours, it adapts to its limits. Short shifts let you get back to fighting sooner. In the ready profiles: 1 hour in Growth and in Gold and equipment, 2 hours in Careful; with Arena and dungeons the gladiator does not work.
Which job it picks
- With little food in your bags: Farmer, which pays and brings fruit and cheese, so healing has something to eat.
- Otherwise the job that pays best per hour among those that cost no rubies.
What the bot does
- While the gladiator works it does not fight, not even in the arena. The Now box reads «The gladiator is working: fights resume when work is over».
- With the arena on it works only when health is low and food cannot be bought. If a food purchase has already been requested, the bot waits for it instead of going to work.
- With plenty of gold (more than 10 times the reserve) and food in the bags it does not send the gladiator to work for used-up expedition points: the pay is gold you would not spend, and work keeps the Circus Turma and the dungeons waiting for an hour.
- If you send it to work, the bot recognises it and waits for the work to end.
- At most one attempt every 10 minutes. Every shift goes into the log with the job, the hours and the real reason: expedition points used up, low health and no food, or low health with the arena on and no food to buy.
- In the game, work unlocks at around level 4: before that the option has no effect.
